What is the Taiwanese Cultural and Sports Association (TCSA)?
TCSA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Taiwanese culture, fostering intercultural friendships, and organizing community events in the Bay Area. Through cultural festivals, sports activities, and educational programs, we aim to bring people together and celebrate diversity.
What kind of events does TCSA organize?
TCSA hosts and participates a variety of cultural and community events, including the Taiwanese American Heritage Festival, the Kids Fun Festival, sports competitions, and other volunteer activities to showcase Taiwan’s rich traditions, arts, and cuisine to multi-cultural communities.
Who can participate in TCSA events?

Taiwanese American Heritage Festival
What is the Taiwanese American Heritage Festival?
Taiwanese American Heritage Festival is one of the Bay Area’s most prominent cultural events, featuring live performances, traditional and modern Taiwanese arts, food vendors, and community engagement opportunities. Each year, it highlights Taiwan’s unique cultural heritage through music, dance, and interactive exhibits and artistry.
Who is performing at the 2025 festival?
This year, we are honored to present the Ten Drum Art Percussion Group (十鼓擊樂團), an internationally acclaimed percussion ensemble from Taiwan. Their electrifying performances blend traditional drumming with modern artistry, creating a mesmerizing and immersive cultural experience.
When and where is the 2025 Taiwanese American Heritage Festival happening?
The 2025 festival will take place on Sunday, May 11, 2025 (Mother’s Day weekend) at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City, CA from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Kids Fun Festival (KFF)
What is the Kids Fun Festival (KFF)?
The Kids Fun Festival (KFF) is an annual family-friendly event hosted by TCSA at Cupertino Memorial Park. It features exciting games, cultural performances, hands-on activities, and delicious food, providing a fun and educational experience for children and families.
When and where will the Kids Fun Festival take place?
The 2025 Kids Fun Festival will be held on August 23, 2025, at Cupertino Memorial Park. Stay tuned for more details on the schedule and activities!

Do I have to be Taiwanese to attend?
Not at all! The Kids Fun Festival (KFF) is all about celebrating diversity and cultural exchange among different countries. This is a unique opportunity for our community to showcase their own country’s traditions, games, and activities!In past years, we have featured cultural exhibits from El Salvador, India, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, and more! What are some displays at the International Village?
Each country represented is run by an individual volunteer who share their culture however they’d like. Some booths host traditional children’s games, or display articles of clothing for kids to try on, while others have small crafts and activities inspired by their heritage.
